Chicago Air and Water Show

The Chicago Air and Water Show is an annual event held in Chicago, Illinois, showcasing spectacular aerial and aquatic displays.

Traditionally, the Air and Water Show Chicago takes place during the summer, usually in August, along the lakefront at North Avenue Beach. It is one of the largest free-air shows in the United States and attracts millions of spectators each year.

During the event, you can see a variety of thrilling aerial performances by military aircraft, aerobatic teams, and civilian pilots. Spectators are treated to breathtaking stunts, precision flying, and demonstrations by skilled pilots from various branches of the military, such as the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

In addition to the aerial displays, the event also features water-based activities. You can witness exciting water-skiing performances, boat demonstrations, and rescue simulations conducted by the Chicago Fire Department and Coast Guard.
