The North Carolina Apple Festival will start on Friday. The opening ceremony will begin at 2:15 p.m. at the Historic Courthouse. It is a great day to grab some festival food for lunch. The street fair and food court will operate from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday’s entertainment will be headlined by Buddy K Big Band, which will play from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. You can enjoy events like Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. At 1:15 p.m., the Apple Recipe Contest will take place at 1 Historic Courthouse Square.
